About Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church
Established in 1951, Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church is located on the hill in Linglestown, Pennsylvania (a suburb of Harrisburg) and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the ELCA.
Worship
Worship Services are normally held Sundays at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM.
The church is wheelchair accessible. An elevator in the entranceway provides access to all levels of the church. The church is air-conditioned to provide a comfortable environment during the warm summer months, and plenty of off-street parking is available.
Mission & Purpose
We are a community of persons baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and nourished by the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ, received by us in the sacrament of Holy Communion. Gathered as our God’s children in a family of faith, we are committed to spreading the Good News of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ in both word and deed. As our God turns to us in His faithful love, so he continually turns us to lives of loving service.
